Nikita Volegov

After several years spent racing karts in national and then continental events, Nikita Volegov changed to single-seater racing in F4 in 2016. The Russian made a quiet debut in the SMP F4 NEZ, and then scored his first podium finishes and his first pole position in the Spanish F4 Championship. In 2017, he decided to continue in the same series and showed that he had made a big step forward by clinching two victories. Thanks to his results he was incorporated into the SMP Racing programme. His career is being given a boost as he is making his Formula Renault debut at the Red Bull Ring replacing Alexander Vartanyan.
